Maksym Krippa becomes owner of Ukraine's key exhibition complex: details of the deal

Ukrainian investor Maksym Krippa, whose portfolio already includes such iconic Kyiv landmarks as the Parus Business Center and the Ukraine Hotel, has made a new, highly visible investment. This time, his attention has fallen on the country’s key exhibition venue, the International Exhibition Center (IEC).

According to information received from Interfax-Ukraine, Krippa gained significant influence by acquiring 50.04% of the shares of A.T.V.T. Until recently, this company was the main shareholder of the IEC. At the same time, the businessman did not stop there, also buying out the shares of Anatoly and Olena Tkachenko. Thanks to these steps, he has effectively concentrated more than 75% of the authorized capital of the International Exhibition Center LLC in his ownership.

In his comment, Maksym Krippa emphasized that he has been actively investing in real estate projects for over two decades. His activities are not limited to Ukraine, but also cover other countries. The businessman emphasized that every new asset acquired in his homeland is not just an economically profitable step for him. According to him, it is a testament to his deep faith in the future of the state.

“The main stages of the agreement have already been successfully completed. Now we are looking forward to strategic planning for the further development of the IEC,” said Krippa, summarizing his plans for this facility.

Maksym Krippa: The IEC is starting a new chapter

The new majority owner of the IEC outlined his vision for the future of one of Ukraine’s most important exhibition venues. His ambitious goal is to transform the facility into more than just a venue for various events, but a true symbol of a modern, open, and progressive Ukraine.

Commenting on plans for the facility, Krippa noted that the IEC has enormous potential to become a leading venue for international summits, large-scale industry forums, and world-class business events. However, according to him, the most important element in this process is people.

“The IEC has enormous potential, but its greatest asset is its team,” the businessman emphasized.

He confirmed his intention to retain more than 130 experienced specialists who are already working on the development of the complex, understanding that their expertise is key to success.

One of the main areas of transformation will be a radical rethinking of the management strategy. Instead of the traditional approach, The IEC will move to a flexible, technology-oriented model. This means not only modernizing the existing infrastructure, but also complete openness to new event formats, active cooperation, and the introduction of innovative digital solutions.

He noted that in the long term, he does not rule out the possibility of a complete rethinking of the IEC’s functions. According to the entrepreneur, global trends are constantly transforming audience demands, so it is important for Ukrainian businesses not only to adapt to new challenges but also to stay ahead of them.

He also noted that the complex does not currently require any major repairs or expansion. The facility is in good technical condition and complies with current standards, so no large-scale construction work is planned at this time.
