Sources told the publication that an official announcement is expected soon regarding the change of president and the replacement of board members. The current board is anticipated to be replaced entirely by representatives from NAVI and Maincast.

Andriy Gryshchenko, who previously organized tournaments on behalf of NAVI, is reportedly being considered for the position of Executive Director of the Ukrainian Esports Federation.

The proposed new board is expected to include:

  • Yevhen Zolotarev, CEO of NAVI,
  • Vitaliy Volochai, co-founder of Maincast,
  • Mykhailo Zverev, talent,
  • Andriy Horodenskyi, coach of NAVI,
  • and Oleksii Kucherov, COO of NAVI.

This would effectively place the Ukrainian esports industry under the control of NAVI owner Maksym Krippa. The Ukrainian Esports Federation is a member of all major international esports associations and plays a key role in regulating the industry within Ukraine.

According to the publication, NAVI and Maincast executives have actively criticized the UESF in recent years. Their motivation was allegedly a desire to take control of the organization, which now appears to have materialized.

A source close to a former board member of the Ukrainian Esports Federation told the publication that all regional representatives and board members of the UESF were asked to sign a document approving the meeting, during which the new president and board members were unanimously elected.
